Little Mini Key Fobs

Just look at these cute mini key fobs!!

The mini size is great to hold over your fingers, or the perfect size to slide into your pockets. They can be tossed into your everyday purse.

I listed this new bag in the shop yesterday. I just love it. It's made with Michael Miller Fabric designed by Patty Young called Andalucia - Birdie Damask Earth. It's such a pretty fabric.

I have new bags in the shop today. I love them all. Two of them I did as 3 piece sets, meaning I have included a matching zipper pouch and key fob to the purse.

Full of Blooms

My daughter had a friend come over Yesterday and they played in the last bit of snow that's on the ground. I think they had fun. I saw them chasing each other, snowball fighting and even built a snowman.....um.....snowlady.

Shelby has another friend coming to stay the weekend so I hope while they are goofing off that I can get into the workroom and goof off with some fabrics!!! I have a few purses drawn up and can't wait to get started on them..................

Back in the Workroom

After weeks of not blogging I am glad to say I am back. I hope I still have readers.....

I have had a lot going on this year already. I will be posting more about that later, but I am happy to be back into the workroom. I have new purse designs I am working on. I am digging the new fabric I have. I really like the yellow and black combination!

Reading can be fun!

From the time my daughter was born we would read to her every night. I am thankful that she loves to read now. So I decided to make a few fabric bookmarks for my Etsy shop. Team them up with a book and give as a gift, they make great stocking stuffer, or just give as a thank you gift to your little one when they do something nice.
(I also still have some pocket pouches, key fobs and bookmarks that are perfect to stick in the stocking!)

This One is For the Girls

Little girls that is!

You know every little girl likes to have their own bag or wristlet. I have a few great items for that special little girl in my shop. They make great Christmas gifts, or Birthday gifts.

I have the Fun Dots Wristlet. A wonderful little pouch for her to carry a small pack of crayons or pencils and small notepad in on those trips to the doctor, mall, restaurant or keep in the car for entertainment on those car trips. Great for older girls that have a Nintendo DS or Nintendo Lite, it slides in easily.

Pink Pinwheels Snap and Go Pouch is a smaller pouch. She can snap it on her belt loop or carry in her hand. Small put will still hold a small pack of crayons, notepad, and even a Nintendo DS or Nintendo Lite.

And of course every girl likes to carry their own purse. Later today I will be listing this pretty purse on Etsy. This purse is just too cute. I love the fabric, which is 100% cotton. I fully lined this purse with pink fabric and added one pocket on the inside. There are cute sayings like: BFF, Smile, You Go Girl, Fabulous, It's a Girl Thing!

Wristlet Wednesday!!

Today I am making it Wristlet Wednesday. Excited....? I am.

Wristlets are great to use for those quick trips to the mall, parties or out to the club. Perfect to use when you don’t want to carry around a large bag. New

Have you ever wanted to do something new?? I have always dreamed of doing a small lap quilt. Just something easy like large squares. I can remember being small and watching my Grandmother and Mother quilt, they would have it all spread out in the living room and I just thought it was so cool. They used the old timey quilt frame and I would sit under the quilt and pretend it was a fort. Anyway, back to what I was saying....or typing.....I have decided to try it. I am using some Fall fabrics I have on hand, I do think I need to pick up some brown fabric for the back. So I hope it turns out good enough for me to post here on the blog..........

Fall Inspiration

I was out walking yesterday with my hubby, and he pointed to a few leaves on a tree that have turned yellow. Aw the first signs of Fall. I absolutely love Fall and the beautiful colors of yellow, orange and browns. I love the crisp air and the smell of pumpkin spice candles. So I was looking through ETSY for fall items. I want to share a few that I really like......

Blakeswork has some of the cutest magnets. I love the orange and how it pops out on the wood, and it reminds me of the leaves in fall.

A Perfect Day To....

Create!

Hubby at work, Daughter at school, the sun is shining, and music playing in the background. Yes, the perfect day to create. So the other day I bought some new fabric.

and this morning after hesitating to cut into the fabric I decided to make a Pomona Handbag.

I went with the Fall Floral print. I have to say I love the way it turned out.

This is such a cute handbag that I thought it needed a matching mini key fob to go with it. Cute huh? So cute I tried to talk myself out of listing it on Etsy. But Etsy won...... you can find it HERE.
